more of the same...

i finished albert camus' the rebel (which was hella awesome) as well as stanley's grenz's theology for the community of god and william placher's essentials of christian theology, both of which were pretty good.

man's search for meaning - victor frankl

up next is process theology: and introductory exposition by john cobb and david griffin, also man's search for meaning by victor frankl.

remember when i used to read cuz i wanted to? those were the good days. of course, half of these books i'd read for my own personal enjoyment anyways.

i should be writing a paper, but....

i got kinda bored with it, so i figured i'd update this thing a little. i'll prolly be pulling an all-nighter again (which would make it three weeks in a row).

i finished diary and reason, truth, and history. diary was another palahniuk masterpiece. so far i've read and own all of his novels (well kind of... lullaby disappeared). he is by far my favorite author.

transcendence of the ego - jean-paul sartre introducing liberation theology - leonardo & clodovis boff

over the last few weeks, i also finished jean-paul sartre's naseau (which i absolutely loved) and his transcendence of the ego as well as leonardo boff's introducing liberation theology.

the rebel - albert camus

up next i've got alber camus' the rebel, john searle's the rediscovery of the mind, and i'm going to re-read fight club for my final paper for my phenomenolgy and existentialism class where i am going to compare the book to sartre's existential philosophy, especially that of the look.

i gotta get back to my 10 page paper on liberation theology which is due tomorrow (which i have zero pages written so far)

how i voted

kerry, s. matheson, j. matheson, bennett, ivory, yes on init 1, no on init 3.

unless there is a miracle in ohio, it looks like bennet will be my only victory.

i only had 2 hours of sleep last night (which is better than the 41 hours without sleep i did last week). i wanna stay up to see if kerry officially loses, but i'm just too tired. fulltime school and fulltime work is just killing me this year.

it's unfortuante that the abolition of rights for civil unions was thrown into amendment three. i'm all for defining marriage as between a man and a woman, but amendment 3 went to far.

it's also unfortunate that we care more about our personal wealth than taking care of the environment. oh well. we can't all follow the book of mormon in utah.

if bush wins, which it looks like he will.... i only wish and pray that there is a way to get cheney and rumsfeld out of his administration. they totally screwed up what could have been a pretty good presidency.

me need sleep.
