sustain'd
one time i threw up and there was a quarter in it.
on a side note, my sometimes arch-nemesis connor has launched a new site to showcase lds blog posts. sustain'd works like digg.com where it allows people to vote on blog posts to raise it's popularity.
so here is where you come in. i want to test this thing out to see if a strong critical/progessive voice can be made from the lds community. register for sustain'd and find some of the best controversial posts you can find and submit them so you and others can sustain them. try to submit blog posts that are not your own. and be sure to 'sustain' blog posts that others have submitted.

ReplyDeleteSustain'd is not your playing ground for attention, Narrator.
connor:
ReplyDeletethe world is my playground. and it's not my attention i'm after. that's what this blog is for. i want to give progressive and more liberal views more attention. and i'm not the only one who holds these.
If you could "throw up a quarter" about a thousand times a day you would be rich. I'd pay to see it too.
ReplyDeleteI bet if you could throw up a thousand times a day you could get someone to pay you a quarter for each time. If no one else would go for it, I'm sure the circus would.
ReplyDeleteWould a Mormon then have to send 2.5 cents of that quarter to "The Big House" in SLC?
ReplyDeleteYeah, unless it was a quarter that you'd previously owned and eaten. But if it were a quarter created from your stomach then you'd totally have to pay tithing on it.
ReplyDeleteAs if "critical" and "progressive" were synonyms or inherently linked...
ReplyDeleteben:
ReplyDeletei use the '/' to indicate 'or'. and they are inherently linked. they both share the property of being discouraged by many mormons
