A Tale of Three Networks - Obama's budget plan

Obama just released his new budget plan. CNN.com, MSNBC.com, and FoxNews.com have their different ways of describing it. Here are their headlines at actual size.

FoxNews has already changed their headline a bit. I'm guessing that with all of their accusations about Obama and the left trying to ignite class warfare they realized that they were being a bit hypocritical :

After realizing that their attempt to cover up their attempt to ignite class warfare was not grammatical, they changed their headline yet again:

  1. As a friend pointed out, the rhetorical change is done to emphasize that those whose Obama's plan is "targeting" are those who have "earned" their money ("earners")--ie. Obama is taking money from good, hard-working Americans. In this sense, they are inciting class warfare even more.
