My thoughts on Christmas music #2

Joy to the world, the Lord is come!
Let earth receive her King;
Let every heart prepare Him room,

Joy to the world, the Savior reigns!
Let men their songs employ;
While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains

No more let sins and sorrows grow,
Nor thorns infest the ground;
He comes to make His blessings flow

He rules the world with truth and grace,
And makes the nations prove
The glories of His righteousness,

This is not a Christmas song - it's about Christ's millennial reign. It's about his second coming, not his first.

  1. I really like this, Loyd. Much better than the crapmas song I have stuck in my head. (I have nothing against Christmas, nor Christmas music, for the most part but let's just go over the line that won't disappear)

    "It's Christmas, and I want everything. Christmas, I want everything." That's been playing in 2 different stores while I've been in them, and each time I've had to leave. Christmas is about the only time during the year I want to be religious, if only because it serves my indignation at consumerism in the name of jesus.
